Parents and carers – have your say on school-age childcare in Calderdale

Introduction

Calderdale Council understands that the need for childcare does not stop when children reach school-age.

That’s why we’re asking parents and carers of children and young people aged 5-19, to:

• tell us about their current and future wraparound childcare arrangements;
• including wraparound term-time and school holiday provision.

What we will do with your feedback

• Your feedback is really important and we will listen to your views.
• We will use it to better understand the needs of our families during these periods.
• It will help us plan and support sufficient, high-quality provision across the locality.

How to share your views

• Complete our online survey, using the button below, marked "Share your views".
• It should take about 10 minutes and will close at midnight on 24 July 2026.
