Pride in Place

In September 2025, the Government confirmed Mixenden and parts of Illingworth as a Pride in Place neighbourhood.

This is a chance to build on the area's strong community spirit, local groups and resident leadership. It aims to tackle long-standing challenges and help create a place people are proud to call home.
